Been keeping an eye on this game for the last few months, and it sounds as if it will be ready for release soon.

If anyone remembers Dungeon Master and Eye of the Beholder from the ST/Amiga days, you will notice a lot of similarities.

    Got a great name!

I grew up playing Dungeon Master and Eye Of the Beholder, so really interested in seeing how this one pans out.

Watching that trailer helps me realise that my fond memories of games like Dungeon Master and Eye Of The Beholder are not just rose-tinted. I really do want to play this revival game :smashin:.

Wutse, Tiggy, Daroou and Halk? Where my lot.....these kids dont know they were born with games these days, there was me, pocket full of 10p's (well, a large pocket, I think it came to just under £400 with DM :D), walking into a shop and buying an Atari ST just to play Dungeon Maaster. :D

Same here, bought an ST just for that game.

Anyone play the follow up, Chaos Strikes Back? That was a tough game.

Obviously! :D Start in a dark room, naked, and then all the worms and fireballs?

    Rock hard. :D

It did allow you to edit your pictures though, I spent so long making my pictures, I made WuTse a little girl doing a cartwheel, and Daroou a teddy bear.

My DM team was always Boris, Tiggy, Stamm, and Daroou. Classic team!

I am trying to remember now if it was Stamm or Halk I had. He had no mana, and so you had to weild something thta gave him 10 mana, and then he could create potions to get mana.

So which fighter had 0 mana?

The devs also get a bigger slice of the money, but you also get a stand alone installer as well as a Steam key, so it's just better than getting it from Steam or GoG :smashin:.

I'll be pre-ordering in the next few days. I loved Dungeon Master so lots of expectations for this.

Think I will have to dabble with this. Used to love the likes of Bloodwych and Eye of the Beholder.

Edit - Have just Pre - ordered, looking forward to it.

Pre-ordered from the official site. Makes sense as they see more of my money and I still get a Steam key anyway.

Haha, nice response from the Dev, this is why I love indie gaming, you get a much better community feel.

Indeed, a great response. It's great the way indie games developers listen to their customers and deliver products they really want as opposed to telling them which products they really want.
