Can't see anything less than a Barca win. Especially at the Spanish FA's home ground.

I wouldn't be surprised to see 2 or 3 incidents like the video posted above (which funnily enough the spanish league has removed from YouTube to cover their tracks haha)

I think it's nailed on someone will get sent off tonight! That being a Real player of course (with the rules having been amended that B*rca must always receive the advantage)

    Going for 2-2

I'm going out to watch it.

Can't beat the entire place collectively groaning when the Ref does something hideously blatant.

Win or lose it doesn't bother me, just hope its a very entertaining match. I think even if Real end up losing they still have La Liga in their back pocket, 4 matches left after this 2 home and 2 away as well as affording to draw another.

Obviously happy with the result, but Barca looked way off their usual selfs tonight.

    Will Chelsea hope next week.

Barca can't win real without a red card or penealty even at home. Man of the match is the referee who didn't ruin it.

The special one to Newcastle if we qualify to ucl?

Man of the match would've been Ramos for me.
First to more or less every ball and much improved defensive performance from his awful one vs Bayern in midweek (last week)

Tonight's match was an example of why Real are on track to win the league.

They were struggling against a dogged team. Messi couldn't turn it on....the whole team laboured , conceding two goals against ten men.

It's games like that Ronaldo decides to do something special and win the game!

Not sure who said it in the other thread but Barca don't seem to have a Plan B. Seems they need a tough, large player or two that can power their way through, when gliding deft touches aren't working.

The difference between Real Madrid and Barcelona is that although the respective 1st 11's are similar in ability it's the squad depth of Real Madrid that sets them apart. Barcelona have injuries but all major teams have to deal with that situation every year. They don't have the quality to replace Abidal, David Villa etc. But that's the fault of Guardiola spending and wasting vast sums on Ibrahimovic and Chryginsky etc.

Real Madrid deserve the title this year and it just means Barcelona have to regroup next year under Guardiola or the next manager.

Difference between Barca and Real is that Madrid can adapt their play to teams. Barca have one style. If it doesn't work, or someone has an off game - they STILL try it. Last night Messi hit the post from a shot outside the box....for the rest of the game they continually played it right.....then into the box - instead of seeing themselves hit the post from outside the box an try it again. Boring repetitive gunk. They don't adapt. Pep has one gameplan - so when a team set out to stifle them and they keep on playing down the right regardless , they get all flustered.

Ronaldooooooo. Oh god. Can you imagine If Ronaldo scored a hat trick in a CL semi final, having beaten Barca last week , scored a ton Of CL goals and having also scored against Barca earlier in the season - then a lot of haters will be sickened that they can't roll out the "he goes missing in big games!!!" rubbish they spout!

Come on Real, sicken the haters and don't slip up here :(

Madrid didn't adapt very well tonight, did they ??

Barca still the quality team in Spain.

They adapted quite well I thought. They knew if they conceded a goal they'd always need two to win the match.

They fought for 2-0...got a cushion, then conceded. That made things very difficult. You either attack more knowin that if you're caught on the counter then you need to find another 2 goals at the risk of conceding even more! It's a tough position.

They went out on penalties in the end which is always random.
