Can't believe i'm gonna say this, but unfortunetely it's true. Last year i bought a VT30 but early this year i had to return it because it suffered from green blobs and vertical banding. I then made a switch to LCD, big mistake, nothing but problems and definitely NOT for gaming. So back to plasma it was, i eventually decided to go for a LG 60PA6500. The size is amazing and great for the price too. Picture quality incredible and it's all good. But after awhile i started to notice lines...vertical banding, in games like Skyrim and Tomb Raider Underworld, when i would look into the sky or swim underwater i'd see the vertical banding quite clearly. Just now, i decided to put some break-in images on a USB stick and run it on the tv and to my surprise(not in a good way) the white background was white-greenish, not alittle...but quite clearly actually and damn ugly too. Grey background showed the vertical banding very clearly and the green stuff even more. The difference from this tv and the VT30 is that i don't see the green stuff in my games and i hope it stays that way. I DO however see the banding. Man this is all so unfortunete. My friend has a Samsung E8000 and says so far there hasn't been any flaw, nothing wrong with the tv, no green tinge,no banding, all good. I'm slowly starting to think i should have saved some extra money and waited awhile until i could buy the E6500. Which according to alot of people is practically the same as the E8000. At the same time i'm like 'my friend just doesn't see it, i'd probably see it right away' . Any advice on this? Like i said...it's not yet ruining my gaming experience, except for the vertical banding which is quite visible in some games. The green stuff however, so far i don't see it in games and i'm glad as hell about that. Should i go to the store and at least just tell them about this or should i wait?
