I've just bought a Sony DMport adapter TDM-iP50 connected to my Sony Home Theatre system HT-SF360 & KDL-465800 i can play music and control the iphone via the remote but cant get the on screen display to work on the TV
I get a blank screen on the Iphone which says accessory connected
does the iphone need some additional software to run this
I recently upgraded to OS 4

You probably need to use an additional composite video cable from the DMPort direct to the TV.

It seems the inbuilt video only works if your amp does some upscaling.

I've got a RHT-G5 home theate/av stand and have to use the extra lead to get video from my iPod.

Works fine once you've connected the lead.
