Plus you get a 72 mini graphic novel included with 3 stories.
Here's what you get:
"HMV Exclusive 3D Lenticular Slipcase Sleeve With Alternative Artwork & Mini Batman Graphic Novel"
But it's £17.99:
Can't see it posted anywhere so here goes
Sharpe box set £49.99 -£5.00 code down to £44.99 never seen it cheaper than this.
It's the same "graphic novel" that came with the deluxe R1 set...
My own experience would suggest to steer clear of HMV on the net. Apparently with order volume prior to Xmas, they are way behind and their system seems up the creek.
I ordered a DVD "24" season2, which with a promotional code, sold for £24.99.
I was given an order reference code, but no e-mail confirmation ever came. When I tried to check progress on the site, it failed to recognise my e-mail address - which is plainly impossible, as an order code cannot be generated until all the address/e-mail details have been recorded.
There is therefore no way of cancelling the order nor will I know for weeks, whether they may possibly process it. They sell the same DVD in their shops albeit without the promotional discount of £3 - I think saving all this hassle is actually worth £3!! Oh well - better stick to Amazon next time.
Looks like I am eating humblepie - following yesterdays posting. I sent an e-mail querying what had happened to my order (not expecting a response for ages) - but lo and behold, a reply arrived today, saying that my order had been dispatched and it was all down to my quoting a slightly incorrect e-mail address! Mea culpa!
My faith in the internet and HMV has been fully restored (well it will be, once the order arrives) - and I take it all back. Just goes to show, that some of these large organisations do respond promptly to e-mails.
Don't think this has been posted here yet - apologies if it has -
Company of Wolves SE (tin case) £5.99.
Yup, on the 1st post already, but is it definately in the tin case as it doesn't say. Just the picture looks the same. Has anyone bought this at this price?
I bought it on Friday 2 dec, not arrived yet.
...postman just delivered it.
Very unusual METAL amaray case (plastic see through amaray, with metal wrapped around to make an opening shell) and an 18 page booklet.
Black and red printing on a silver metal base, very striking effect,
cheers, pjckarke1 for the heads up. I take it you did buy this @ hmv for £5.99?
Yep, buy it, top bargain just for the case and booklet!
Just to confirm that my Company of Wolves also arrived in the metal tin case - very nice indeed (sorry for not checking the first post properly!).
I also ordered 'Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (New SE - includes book)' but mine didn't come with a book?! Is it worth complaining I wonder?
Are coupons stackable?
Cant seem to manage with the two ...
Considering the second one expired 8 days ago I wouldn't think so.
National Lamppons Xmas Vacation £5.99

I think the biggest saving here is
Shawshank Redemption, 3 disc 10th Anniversary Edition @ £7.99, with DTS sound
The next cheapest place is almost twice the money!!
My original R2 copy of this film will be up for sale! (anyone?)

Nice one cheers guys will look at both of these in future
I'm sure you've seen but x-files boxsets 19.99 each
I bought 2 seasons with voucher code
£17.49 per season
If you could afford it you could buy the box set with all 9 seasons in it for £146 at the moment. That's £16.22 each
I had seen that but I would get garroted by the other half already spent too much.
Heh, heh, tell me about it. I dropped hints, myself but she's gone for the Blackadder set instead. Oh well she told me I can buy it if it drops below £100 in the new year. (and pigs might fly )
I always say, what she don't know about the cost of things, won't hurt her!
...until she says she wants a new kitchen!!!
Just got an email from HMV that says their January sale starts online on 22nd Dec.
