Hi i have a question regarding overclocking onboard graphics.

I have an Asus M4A78 Pro motherboard with an integrated ATI HD 3200 graphics chip, and while going through the bios, i come across a GFX Engine Clock Override option, and never knew what it was for until tonight.

Looking at it, the core clock is 500Mhz but can be overclocked upto 1000Mhz.

Now the question is, can these be safely overclocked? and if so to what amount would be safe?

Any advice would be very helpful :)

by overclocking it, it will heat it up a fair amount and that is what you need to watch as well as stress testing to see if its stable

If i do overclock it, what should i be watching for to keep an eye on the heat? would that be board temp?
