I'm more than positive that there was a BethSoft 75% off sale (All the big devs had a Steam Xmas sale, mind?).

I grabbed New Vegas w/ all DLC, but held out on Fallout 3 entirely, because it didn't include all the DLC.

I also grabbed Oblivion (Some sort of 'Ultimate GOTY' thing) with all the DLC for about £7.50... It was the one that is now priced @ £9.99.

    Actually I am :smashin:

I waited for a very long time for chaos rising and retribution to come down in price to a price I see as reasonable, eventually got them followed by all the retribution dlc at a later date.

As for Warhammer 40k in a whole (the war game), I used to play it a fair bit.
I have about £350's worth of Ultramarines, all painted up reasonably by yours truly, and before that (many more years ago) I played Space Crusade and Advanced Space Crusade.

    Also Heroquest, Advanced Heroquest etc....

I did paint up all my heroquest stuff, but sold it for a healthy sum when I was young and silly, then rebought it all through ebay (heroquest, space crusade etc....) unpainted and complete to one day start painting again :D

I have always been a fan of Warhammer and Warhammer 40,000, and for the board game's there are sites for new quests and pieces, spare pieces, fan made content etc....to print out too now

The cheapest it has been in the past was £3.25 in June 2010, it did have 75% off over the christmas/holiday period IF you bought the whole lot as a set.

I have been waiting for Morrowind to drop to that price again for a long time to replace my old discs that have given up on me despite no scratch's :thumbsdow
It will come in time :)

Ah, Heroquest. Loved that game, and weened some mates when they were young onto this and into DnD :D

I used to create loads of adventures, mostly at work during lunch on tons of scrap paper. Oh the good old days. I gave my set away (I had all the expansions apart from the stupidly rare french one) and have thought about buying them from ebay again, but the missus would go mental. So I dont.

You are correct about the Christmas part! I probably thought it was cheaper since there was loads of bargains happening.

Are you waiting for it to plummet to £3 again Tris? You might have a lengthy wait!

This might be of interest , I found it on another forum -

Get 2 free steam games if you sign up to IGN prime, they currently have a 7 day free trial so the games are completly free and you also get some other goodies like access to the tera beta and some bloodline champions loot.

The two free games are Rochard and King Arthur . you also get a code for 15% off for life on any purchase at gamersgate when you join prime, the discount will work even if you dont continue after trial.

    http://my.ign.com/prime/hub

You can cancel your sub right after getting your goodies .

I registered using Paypal , and after I got the free games , I cancelled my account (turn off autorenew in your IGN account) , and also removed the pre-approved payments for IGN with Paypal .

    Paypal details -
For those that are not too familiar with the paypal site, to find the pre-approved payments screen, login to paypal
    Click "Profile" at the top
Select "My Money" on the left
On the right side of the "My preapproved payments" row click "Update"
Click "IGN Entertainment" then click the Cancel button and no more catch

Rochard downloaded last night , and I'm downloading King Arthur at the moment , and I have the 15% discount for Gamersgate for life

    Enjoy

When Lord of the Ring's was released on Bluray I said over on the forum here that I would wait and buy the extended edition's when they came out....even when the theatricals went down to next to nothing I still didn't buy them.

I bought the extended edition's when they were released, and never bought the standard editions on blu ray at all :smashin:

In short, yep, I can wait ;):)

I already have King Arthur, but then I can't see anything about getting it after clicking on the link.
Rochard looks pretty good for nothing :)
I'm not interested in the beta's, it's got c+c Tiberium Alliances, but they ran out of keys already

Would it be worth to wait to see if they offer anything else in place?
How does the 15% off gamersgate for life work?

    cheers

Been trying to do this since last night, still nothing; I've got an account, but it's not letting me subscribe to Prime, I've noticed that it's doing it for a few other people as well.
