Ok, I have a 1tb external usb seagate hard drive. It has been formatted to fat32 and been connected to my xbox 360. I connect it to my mac and pc all the time to transfer over media. So never had any problems.

Except for playing mkv and files over 4gb. I have bought a panasonic bdt-310 blu ray player that will play mkv files and it states if you convert your drive to exFAT you can play files over 4gb on your hard drive.

Now I have over 600gb used on my hdd so will be a pain backing up and formatting.

Should I go ahead, will my hard drive still work as good with my xbox 360, mac and pc when formatted to exFAT. No cons about this file partition compared to fat32....?
