Very difficult to choose from this months comp as lots of great entries.... domino1999, bodoman, CyBeRkId2002, Vigmandingo, chilluk, mucca_D all had excellent shots but for me baggers collision wins it... Great work by all...

Some fantastic technical shots this month, all would be worthy of a win. (Bagger, Ibcus, Mucca, Domino) to name but only a few.

For me, whilst I love the idea of producing something that was triggered - and if it meant this months' comp meant that we managed to visit Maplin's and knock up a bread board trigger only can be a good thing. ( I will capture a bursting bubble by the end of the year if it kills me!)

However, they can be a little 'sterile' as they can be taken over and over again until the right shot is achieved and there are many versions on Flickr.

I was really looking for something a little more within the realms of everyday...so I cannot really look outside of ChillUK for the set-up or what I have voted on with Chubster - just because the idea of dropping the dogs as opposed to making them wait to jump tickled me so much  Well played

I voted for cyber kid. As my kids are my primary subjects and I never seem to get great shots like that I just thought it was brilliant. The collision shot is awesome and I certainly aspire to even get a good water drop shot let alone a collision but there was just something instant and joyous in cyberkids one that I am always trying to capture with my two.

Chubster, Vigmandingo, johnalan and cyberkid getting a mention, but Bagger gets my vote. It's just sooooo pretty! And fits the theme perfectly.

There are 6 standout shots for me that I want to vote for, but alas that's not allowed :(.

So, honourable mentions to Chubster, CyBeRkId2002, Vigmandingo, Ibcus and chilluk :smashin:

My vote this month goes to Bagger for his bang-on-theme, exceptionally well captured water drop "Collision"...pin sharp, lovely colours and composition pretty near perfect to my eyes

It's between ibcus and Bagger for me. Domino was so close but I sense a bit of motion blur at the top, apologies if it isn't and it's just out of focus. I discounted everyone else with motion blur as I didn't see it as being part of the theme.

The hammer is just so distracting in ibcus' entry, maybe it would have been better if it was just the bulb smashing against the surface?

In the end I'm went with Bagger because it seems executed very well. The only feedback I have with it is I maybe would have cloned out the bubble on the bottom left :)

My entry was pants. I wanted to get closer and wider but I didn't know the guy so I didn't want to invade. I was only really testing a different processing technique which doesn't seem to have gone down well :)

    Honorable mentions to:
Vigmandingo - great idea, the card could do with brightening.
AVTEZ59 - good idea again, it just didn't grab me.

Hope nobody minds my critiques, I'm trying to work on giving feedback!

domino1999 for me... i have seen quite a few similar shots in the past but think this one has been executed perfectly and the processing works excellently.

I agree with all the above comments. Chubber, Vigmandingo amused me but my vote went to Cyber kid for the sheer joy of the splash in a muddle puddle

Lots of fantastic entries this month, special mentions to Chubster, domino1999, bodoman, CyBeRkId2002, Vigmandingo, chilluk & Mucca_D. However, whilst bodoman still gets me smiling, Bagger gets my vote. It is a great shot and bang on theme. Well done.

What a fantastic set of entries all round, well done to contributors.

For theme interpretation I must mention Tintwerz, Avtez59 and cyberkid2002.

Of special mention for technical input Domino, Bagger, Ibcus and Chilluk. I would have voted for the darts if I hadn't known how it was set up!! Domino probably posted too early in the month.

For me this month it is Andyc47 as the shot brings back memories of some great times in rivers.

Some fantastic entries, great creative stuff:smashin:

Thanks for the coments, and even with a trigger, I still got through 40 balloons

Bodomans made me smile, Chubsters great idea. As said technically ibcus, Domino and bagger, great shots, for me, it had to be bagger.

Regardless of the assistance of electronics, it's still very hard to nail, and is 100% on theme :smashin:

There has been some very good entries, especially mucca_D, Ibcus, johnalan, cruncher75 and domino1999.

But my vote goes to domino1999, very nice indeed

Some excellent shots this month on a tough theme (I didn't manage to put in an entry this month) but the winner is wookielover for his original shot which was bang on theme for me.

bagger and domino were my 2nd and 3rd choice (in no particular order), but it was vigmandingo's photo for me, just because i can just imagine the child saying/thinking "yeah, i win, and what!?" and casually throwing the winning card down.

Chilluk's appealed to me the most. I do love a lot of the other shots, and really admire the time and effort that has gone in to them, but having tired to do the dart thing myself i can appreciate how difficult it was to get.
    Some really outstanding images though.

I'm going with chilluk too this month. bagger's shot was great apart from the clipping down the right hand side and unfortunately that spoilt it for me, sorry.
But overall there where some absolutely stunning entries this month. You can all give yourselves a pat on the back..

Bagger get's my vote this month - excellent capture - close though between that and domino1999 as that's another super shot.

Other favourites for me this month were bodoman really made me LOL :D) , mucca_D, Ibcus, chilluk, Chubster and CyBeRkId2002 :smashin:

So much good stuff. Of the set-up stuff Bagger has it for me, though Ibcus and Chilluk are very appealing too.

I think I am going to vote for something a bit more ‘real world’ though, so on the shortlist I have CyBeRkId, the excellent Chubster entry and what I eventually settled on the Vigmandingo shot, of which the composition and depth of field I thought just right.

    Nice work all.
