Moffat on the new companion.
From the Dr Who News site.
Doctor Who News
New Doctor Who assistant, actress Jenna-Louise Coleman filmed her first scenes with Matt Smith in Port Talbot, Wales. Rumoured she will be called Clara.
Dougray Scott was also spotted on location…
It looks like he's after the role of the Doctor to me.
May I be the first to say 'Bad Wolf'

I was just about to post that. Instead I'll say Karen Gillan and Arthur Darvill returned this week to film some pickup shots.
He seems to have aged about 10 years from his debut pics. to these recent ones....?!
I think he's now finally reached the age of the previous youngest ever Doctor, Peter Davison
Unconfirmed reports are saying Jenna-Louise Coleman's character name is Clara.
So no change since post #183
I don't think you take my posts seriously Bri or you have a memory like a sieve
I think he has you on ignore so the above a waste of time
Oh and before I forget myself: Unconfirmed reports are saying Jenna-Louise Coleman's character name is Clara.
I missed that part. I've used the I must get myself to Specsavers joke before so I won't use it again now.
doesn't look like she's doing a Peri with the puppies
Give it time.
And if Matt leaves, she could provide the same comfort as Peri ...
I remember that so well. I didn't have to watch.
Because your mum caught you in your bedroom
^^^ would have had to have been the Hartnell or Troughton era for that, rai
oh yeah, didn't Bri go to school with Hartnell
No I'd left home well before then clever clogs. I'm not saying anything about what may have happened with my wife though.
The first episode is Asylum Of The Daleks.
The BFI will be screening the episode on 14th August, tickets on sale 10th July
So it's going to be an August bank holiday weekend start to the series then (Sat 25th)
Krish I assume you're guessing based on the timing of the advance screenings. The Edinburgh screening will be between 23/8/12 and 25/8/12. Such an early transmission would contradict what Moffat said about it being shown during the dark nights where it belongs. Also the Christmas special is episode six so there'd be a run of five episodes and then a long gap till Christmas Day which would the start of the next (maybe) nine episodes. It doesn't seem right but if the TV showing is delayed until five weeks before Christmas the spoiler potential is huge.
What's going on?

This is an epic Dalek adventure that kicks off the new series in explosive style! If you think you know all there is to know about the Daleks, think again...
