or showing her puppies as the doc's about to regenerate
I for one cannot wait to see her on my screen
I'm not complaining, but she need more meat on her bones (& I don't mean mine )
Tennant won some kind of award thing. We await new guy
You didn't like Adric and Mel? Do you have any taste?
Tate's Donna was excellent but Martha was too.
By the way I'm reading RTD's revised A Writer's Tale at the moment. A superb read for any Who fan. Give it a go Krish.
Hour long episode start for Matt. Possible spoilers.
SFX: the leading science fiction, fantasy and horror magazine
at the time, I didn't think Adric was that bad (well I was about 11), but watching the dvds..........................
So Adric was for the eleven year olds. I wonder who Mel was for?
All the best
From the Daily Wail.
BBC scriptwriters tried to use Doctor Who to bring down Margaret Thatcher | Mail Online
The Mail's on the ball again. It was hard not to notice the attack on Thatcher during The Happiness Patrol all those years ago.
What else have they reported today, Hitler lost the Second World War?
My thoughts too. Whoever's in power gets attacked by writers. I can remember similar stuff in WWIII that was slipped in by RTD.
I gather it was covered on Newsnight last night. It would seem it's a Tory pre election BBC bash. God they must be desperate to drag this up. It hardly reflects on today's BBC. It also ignores the times Who has had a go at Labour. As you say like the stiff in WW3.
Newsnight on Who
YouTube - How Time Lord Doctor Who took on Mrs Thatcher
Does it surprise anyone that it is from The Daily Turd?
So they have surmised that a few tenuous links in 1980s Doctor Who mean that the BBC was anti Tory in the 80s.
What a poor sole who writes this crap believing they are anything other than a laughing stock.
New publicity shots.
This guy's Smiler.
... and new trailer to be released on Sat

There's also to be a 3d version of the trailer to be shown in cinemas and special events.
Terry Nation's scripts were very much influenced by WW2, I recall reading somewhere
The trailer (2d) is going to be shown at 18.30 on BBC1.
Me thinks someone has just watched the Buffy Season 4 Episode called Hush.
Not even close.
YouTube - Doctor Who: Series Five (Trailer)
Not a very good trailer.
it's not really a clip trailer though, just a promo-only piece just like they made for earlier series (with the Doc saying something like come with me / let me take you on an adventure and then together with new companion they start running past explosions and stuff), though I agree this wasn't that good
Is it me or does Matt Smith have a rubbery face, this could enable him to out-gurn Mr Tennant
Re. the new trailer; Can anyone make out what the Dalek says at approx. 25s in?
I think it says "State your identity"
Or did it say "Haven't you got a rubbery face? .
Is there an accurate start date yet?
