    Hi,

Not sure if this thread is allowed on here, but I've heard that there are dodgy 'chipped' Sky decoder boxes available which open up all the channels including PPV, in the same way as a chipped OnDigi card opened all channels. Is this true and has anyone got any experience of them?

    Cheers

Rumours of "chipped" Sky boxes constantly do the rounds on 'other' Forum websites... But until I see one I'll never believe it, to be honest! There's that PPV 'hack' which incorporates a battery to fool the box into letting you watch up to 50-00 worth of movies / etc., but then doesn't let you order any more. Apart from that and AFAIK there's nothing to see. And I believe Sky are currently modding Digiboxes so even the PPV trick doesn't work anymore?

I would love to be proved wrong though!

    stan.
