Hi all, I'm looking into putting Virgin Media into a few rooms in the house. Currently planning ahead for network cabling (Co Ax and Cat6). When we moved house just before xmas we had virgin installed (as per out last home) - Tivo HD box in ground floor living room and virgin + box above in bedroom. I've seen the dialogue on using Cat extenders/multi room for Sky (such as the HDanywhere products which I'm keen on), but not for cable? I plan (if possible) to take the virgin box and router into the loft (node zero) and then re route/distribute from there. My knowledge doesn't stretch far enough to understand if it's then possible to have a couple of TV's showing different channels on Virgin (after getting rid of the second box and subscription - cutting down on what we are paying out to virgin). I could possibly use splitters and amplifiers (like the Labgear products) but I guess that's not going to push HD through and the quality *may* negated. Does anybody here run a simliar set up? Many thanks.
