Only 100 for me. Now to get a points to redeem.
Not had any email
Mine didn't come until late afternoon well after others so am guessing there is a rollout.
not everyone gets one
at christmas me and my missus didnt get one
i got one this time and she didnt
added EAN for Phineas & Ferb Volume 1: The Fast & The Phineas 3x DVD, CD & Book 500 points to post 1
This may be a silly question, but I got a copy of the Lion King double play from the rewards site. I opened it up and there's no code inside it. Is this because it's a freebie? I only ask because I'm sure when I got my copy of the Nightmare Before Christmas that there was a code in it...
I have had points added to my account for titles that have arrived without codes in them, they added lion trilogy and cars 2 points to my account
I bought the same Lion King DP blu ray recently and there was no code in it. IIRC the code used to give 450 instead of 150 so perhaps they stopped issuing them. They will still probably add 150 points if you contact them.
There wasn't in mine when I got it either but I contacted them and asked nicely, not entirely sure if I was entitled to more points as it was a freebie and they added the points to my account... which went towards my parents getting a free copy of the Lion King too.
Picked up Muppet's Treasure Island for £3 in HMV today so got 100 for that and my bonus 500. Takes my total to just over 3000, but still nothing I want to redeem at the moment. Hope we get some new rewards added soon.
I didn't know Muppet's Treasure Island was on the eligible list
Its not on the list on the website, but it had a sticker on the box and a code. Its got a white band across the top of the cover saying 'Muppet's Classic Collection' so I think it may be a recent re-release.
There were other titles from the same range in store like Muppets Christmas Carol and The Muppets Movie as well as a couple of others I can't remember, all at £3 or £4 each.
what is the phone number to ring again? i found it the best way to get points added.
i was last here in thread 2 - back when people werent trying to cheat the system. im happy to say all my points are legit. but i just got 100 points from duck tales and not 300 also got chip and dale but no code, im not sure if that is eligible though.
020 8222 1571
just contacted them and had a chat, mentioned the things that go on (not mentioning the forum of course be she seemed a bit ditzy and said people put the wrong codes in etc, etc. she probably does it herself lol)
anyway i opened chip and dale and was suprised it had a code as no mention of it on the packaging, only gave 100 points though so she has just added 400 points - so thats 600 points for just £6 and 40 episodes of classic animaton, not to be sniffed at.
only problem is im up to 1900 points and dont want anything - have all the classics, not interested in girly stuff so it only leaves 3d blurays and i have no intention of buying them as first i have the regular blurays, and second i dont think the fad will last.
You really need to see tangled and aviator, hugo in 3d, then you will know the fad will last, you wont want to watch a 2d film again if its out in 3d, and usually you only pay a few quid extra to get the 3d version anyway, future proof then also.
Thanks for the information guys. I'll give it a shot.
Just bought a 2 movie collection dvd of 'Maters Tales' and 'Buzz Lightyear of Star Command' for £5.00 from Sainsbury (using some Nectar Points),and it has given me 200 points plus activated my bonus of 500 points. Not bad 700 points for 1 title.
Thanks, there's no Sainsburys near me but it's £5.99 on Sainsbury's Entertainment
In Sainsburys near me (Oldbury) they had a double pack of the above DVDs and also a double DVD pack of Prince of Persia and Sorcerers Apprentice for £5 which will also give you 200 points according to DMR- there was also a sticker on both boxes which said "Sainsburys Exclusive" just in case anyone is looking for them anywhere else!
RewardsLion King Diamond Edition DVD - Exclusive Sleeve - 700 points
if anyone wants to pm me high value ean feel free
What's the EAN for this!? 700 points!? Or with your easter points?
I never got any easter points :I
The Easter points was a promotional email Disney sent out to some DMR account holders. Whether you got the email seems pretty random, some did some didn't. Apparently they do this at certain times of the year like Easter & Xmas. I got one at Easter but not the last time at Xmas.
If you got it and clicked on the offer in the email then you got between 50 and 500 extra DMR points the next time you entered a DMR code.
There's more details on the previous page of this thread from post 162 onwards.
no redeemable lion king dvd for 700 points. with ltd sleeve
Would have redeemed that but only have 680 points i need a survey or something.
Does everyone else still receive the Monthly newsletter via email? Ain't had one since December 2010 not a single one last year or this year. Still get monthly emails from Disney.co.uk and the Disney Store but nothing from Movie Rewards. All I get are the confirmation emails to say when I have redeemed something and the Birthday reward, that's it didn't get either bonus point offers. Checked all the settings I can find online and nothing appears to be wrong. Tried contacting Disney a few times about it but they don't seem to care.
Yep, I got one on Monday 16th.
Mostly nonsense about Jake and the Never Land Pirates.
I'm still getting them, but I recently had to check my email settings as they were going straight into the spam bin on gmail and therefore not being push through to outlook.
Ain't seen anything in my spam from Disney, going try switching to another email address to see if that fixes it. Not that bothered by the newsletter but wouldn't mind getting the offers/promos on new releases. Been checking the version on the website to make sure I ain't missed anything good.
Edit: Forgot the key part, I wanted to check the email address they are sending the newsletter/promos via. The newsletters I got in the past and the recent terms changes and birthday emails have come from firstname.lastname@example.org. Is that the same email address they are currently sending the newsletter via?
