If you're trying to use a Logitech Wireless wheel, then it won't work, as the morons have dropped support for it!!
    Guess how I found out!

Yeah that's the wheel I'm trying to use. They better get a patch sorted out for it soon!!
I tried the sticks but also found it quite twitchy, just a slight movement on stick sends car flying off to the left or right.

I been playing this on Multiplayer since the store went back up. Nice that you can play causual games and it ranks up your sp campaign too. I'am lvl 25 now and 11 on multiplayer.

I didn't know that the casual games also add to your SP rank, I just jump straight into the online tour mode and got my arse kicked.

Bought this today, its one of the few driving game that I enjoy from the cockpit view, dunno why but feels good from that view.

This is my first Dirt game so I don't know what the others in the series are like, but the variety Dirt3 offer is quite good, it isn't just doing standard rally races all the time.

    Very good game.

I was playing cat n mouse last night and four english guys all had yet sets, so i switched mine on and got an earfull of the usuall abuse (friendly PSN banter) so i continued to wind them up which made them continuely gang up on me but hey ho, my team of randoms won the last race so we won the game by two points, lol.

All i really play online is cat n mouse, definatley a game you need to play with a clan or friends though. As most players have no clue what to do and those that do end up rapping the other teams mini.

Sorry to keep asking this, but I still can't find an answer. Looking on the Codemasters forums it looks it's only possible on the PC with a mod, but I can't find any confirmation. :(
Creating custom rallies would make this game an absolute dream for me. Loading one stage at a time with obviously no continuity between them is just pants. :(

Guys, having a few issues with the camera angle moving when driving! I like to use the view with the car infront, but it keeps panning to the side of the car (like for a shot or something) and i lose the driving line and where i'm going!!

Must be something simple to fix the camera in one place??

    Anyone?

    Ok, cheers!

If anyone else has found this or a way to fix the camera behind the car, please let me know.

Sounds like your powersliding and i would expect the view to pan to the side of the car when doing so.

But surely that's part of rallying and going round corners! Yet no other game moves the camera to the side like it!.....

Hmmm.. Not a good start if I can't get this sorted!

As long as CM don't have our PSN login password we should be ok yeah?

They probably have our PSN logins alrigth due to 'Dirt 3 VIP' but hopefully the PSN and CM accounts aren't linked otherwise?!?

    Hey guys,

Add me on this, looking to do all the online stuff. Blasting through Battersea is quite addictive too!

1 quick question though, I have not played this for about a week as I have been sick, but started again last night and have forgotten how to do the spins! Donuts are easy enough but the spins! How do you do them again?

    Chaps!

I have found out what was going wrong with the camera view! I had changed the controls so the right joy stick was my accelerator and brake! This stick also controls the camera view (where you can pan to the side etc)! Every time i pushed back or fore on a slight bend it would pan around! I changed the controls around again and Wallah!! Problem solved! :)

Seem to have got my controls sorted now too and started picking up trophies!! Quick hour tonight and really enjoying this now! :)

I go in at an angle in 1st, hit the handbrake and quickly put a load of steering on (and keep it on) while flooring it at the same time. Make sure you let the handbrake off sharpish though or you'll just stop (obviously). :smashin:
