    Hi All,

I guess most family readers have this issue.

Mum or Dad get a new phone, 5yr old child wants old phone. Not a problem except child wants the phone to charge up and switch on resulting in the phone possibly making emergency calls.

I have searched high and low for how to stop this happening. Is it possible? Does anyone know how?

I did think about ripping out the aerial. Would this work? For example on a Sony Ericsson Walkman W910, does anyone know how I could do this?

    Cheers

Hi Adders, you could switch the phone to airplane mode or another way might be to remove or superglue the receiver keys so they cant be pressed? If you find it difficult to open up the phone its also worth taking it to your local market stall they might be able to do it for you for a fee.

Hope that's given you some ideas, Richie :)
