We take a look at the 3D Now! converter at CES. This little box of tricks claims to turn any HDMI equipped 2D display device into a 3DTV. The unit will be launched at ISE in February and available in the UK later this year.

Too expensive if normal $ to £ conversions apply. £599 for the processor, £179 for emitter and 1 glasses, and £120 for extra glasses, means you are looking at a starting price of around £8-900. You can buy decent 3D TVs for less. No wonder they are going for the custom installer market first. Can't see it having any traction in the high street, unless the price drops dramatically.

Indeed. Seems to me that to be really attractive as a purchase you need a package that is going to top end around £300-400 max including emitter and glasses.
