Wenger needs to make this competetion his priority this season as it may well be our only passage into Europe?

Methinks there's as much chance of Wenger making this competition his priority this season as there is of Arsenal keeping 11 men on the pitch in their next game!

Should be interesting United meeting Leeds again, this time at Elland Road, still can't believe they beat us at Old Trafford! Lol

Sods law we'd get them so soon after signing De Gea and what's happening with him especially as Leeds were one of Schmeichels first games to which he had a horrid time. Will history repeat itself?! Should be a great game anyway!

Just watching the goals from some of the games last night and the bizarre situation at Sheffield Wednesday v Bradford when they used 3 subs in the first 19 minutes.

Is there a new rule about your team containing so many players from the previous league game or something? Just googled it without much success.

Apparently due to some league rule you have to field 6 players from your previous match. Heard it this morning on SSN but I think it only applies to football league teams

    Looking good for Spurs.

Seeing as 'Arry doesn't seem too interested in the Europa Cup one would think he will give this competition appropriate attention.

    No problem mate.
I was just putting it up incase anyone wanted to go. I didn't mean for it to sound so negative.
I know it won't be a sellout (i always go the the carling cup), the ticket prices are discounted too. Just more of an announcement if anyone wanted to see a game and it wasn't going to be shown on tv either.

Can't wait for tonights game against Leeds. Paul Pogba should play can't wait to see him in action guy is very talented reminds me of Viera in many ways but is an even better striker of the ball.

Ravel Morrison who is probably the best product we have in terms of talent in the last decade come through the ranks will sadly not play but this is because of his off field behaviour. If he sorts himself out he will be some player.

Will be good to see the younger players in action and hopefully some game time for the likes of Berba.

The prices were £10 an adult ticket for tonight's game, i doubt any teams would fill a 60K stadium for a Tuesday night game against a League 2 team (no disrespect to Shrewsbury) knowing a weakened side will be put out

    Yeah they're on tv.
All on Sky too which is hardly surprising considering the UK's legal "news Corp" monopoly.

I extremely excited :):):) Want some revenge on Leeds.

If you are so against it, then you don't have to watch or subscribe to sky sports.

I had a crazy moment earlier and placed a bet on the underdogs in the Carling Cup tonight. Come on Arsenal, you can beat Shrewsbury!

You do realise this legalised monopoly gives me no choice lol. No other channel can buy games as they're legally priced out of the Market by News Corp and ofcom :)

Silly me. You are forced into subscribing to sky sports.
It is actually stupid of me in engaging in your pointless arguments.

But you do have a choice you either pay and watch or don't pay and don't watch. Simples :)

And if other broadcasters outside the BBC , itv, CH4 and Five buy the rights, you'll pay even more to watch all the football. So climb down from your high horse and give it a rest :)

How much football would you see without it Soundburst? In your case, none.

United have been streets ahead, Owen and Giggs showing they may slow down but they don't lose their touch and football brains. Quality.
