Personally, I think it makes far more sense to post price drops on the relevent threads.

If I see new posts on an older thread I always check to see if someone has posted a price drop, but I think this will get a bit messy :)

More and more it seems like waiting (as it is for normal BR's) is the best game.

I thought I did well getting This is it for £16 off the forums the other week:rolleyes::D

6.97 is a bargain as it's a beautiful looking SB. Decent film content too.

As spikey says, if it were posted on the normal MJ thread I might not have looked so soon/at all.

Everyone loves a bargain so i think there's a case for a sticky here. Especially as SB's are becoming more mainstream now and as such, they'll be more bargains around.

Just ordered This Is It, thanks OP.

    First Amazon.de order too.

Excellent thread. Sadly the Pyscho and Wolfman prices have gone back up.

I think it depends on the title, some like wolfman are destined for the bargain bin. Others like district 9 and maybe prince of persia will probably be sold out before they drop.

    That's true.

What seems to me though is that there tends to be at least 2 crap films released as Steelbooks to every one good film (actually the ratio is more like 4 or 5-1:rotfl:) meaning we'll have quite a few that don't immediately sell out.

Of course there's always going to be the exception to this such as 1000 BC (de) SB.

Merged This is It with my Book of Eli/Kick Ass order... so cheers for the heads up on that one :smashin:

Its knowing if something will sell out or not, that's the trouble. My worst nightmare would be playing the waiting game and ending up missing out on it.

I just wish Amazon DE would drop the price of Fantastic 4 double :D

I looked the normal merge thing, but could not find it, I think they have removed it. So I cancelled my orders and ordered all of the together.

You can email them I believe asking for order 1 to be merged with order 2. But with This Is It being ready for despatch, I did it the other way.

you can just contact them via hilfe and ask them to add one to your order, safest in case it goes into dispatch first.

Do you email them instead of adding to basket, just to clarify?
