    Hi,

Being super specific, here is what I'm after :D

    A BK XLS200-DF MK2 but...

I'm after a wood finish from the following three...

    Walnut, Rosewood (pref) or Mahogany
(but i will now consider light oak or cherry)

I know thats really quite specific, but there we go

I'll bump this for a few months and if no luck, I'll prob end up biting the bullet and paying for a new one

It does Have to be downward firing due to my 18month old not being able to get to the speaker!!
And wife says (preffered) only one of those three wood finishes!!

So if anyone can sell me one of those finishes, then game on :)

Let me know your price and we're good to go.

I'm based in S.Wales. I will travel a bit to pick up, plus I visit my mum in S London on occasion, so could collect nearby or on route.
Otherwise It'll have to be courier

    Cheers!
See my feedback on here for safety in offers etc :)

    Location: Brecon, S Wales

Hi! I have BK XLS 200 DF MK2 in walnut bought end of November 2010, I have moved to different house 2 months later, since then it was practically not used at all, because my new lounge is not "compatible" with this sub and my monitor audio speakers :/ in terms of colour and size.., at least this is what my better half is thinking about it.., for last 6 months I could not decide if I should sell my whole set up (or at least rear speakers, centre and sub) and get some small speakers for lounge or home cinema in one (blaaahhh...) or wait for better moment for negotiations with HER ;) so decided just now I am willing to sell it if you agree for my price which is £265 delivered, I know it seems to be high but it is mint condition, barely used one and I think my heart will break if I sell it for less.. [bought for £350]

    Hi Joono,

Appreciate the OP has first refusal. However, if 'the thing wnn' passes I would be willing to offer £210 delivered.

thanks Joono - I have been offered one that is a travellable distance from me, I am just waiting on more details/photos etc to make my mind up on it, but he's asking for less than you are for his (co-incidentally it is also a 200DF in Walnut!)
So thanks for the offer, but I'll pass at 265.
I'll leave this thread going for now incase this local sale falls through
    Thanks again for the offer

my only issue on a 300 would be the 'exposed' second driver.
I know it has a grille, but i have a very clever 20 month old who only this morning spread peanut butter on my Plasma. I have enough speaker cones in my living room afraid for their lives as is, so was hoping for a downward firing option only to prevent speaker access from little fingers and sharp implements!

saying all that, how much were you asking for it? whereabouts are you?

Bit of a trek for me, so postage would be the way to go
    few questions..

    a) how old is it?
    b) what was cost at new?
    c) current condition, scratches etc?
    d) any pics?

    Ta :D

    Hi,

    a) It's 3 or 4 years old not sure
    b) About £400.
    c) Very good. It has a small scratch on top but it can only be distinguished when looking at it very closely as it kind of blends into the wood grain.
    d) Could take some at some point but nothing as yet.

I have the original packaging, the spikes and the high level cable.

I don't really need to change my subwoofer. I just fancy changing it for a black one so I would stick to my offer for the moment.

    Thanks

    Hi Damien,

As the op is not interested, I'd like offer the asking price of £210 collected. My only stipulation would be to recieve a couple of photos before making the journey up from Cardiff.

    Thanks...

Hope the deal above went through ok :smashin:

and from me, I've decided the 400 would be overkill my bungalow I'm in now, so have changed it to just being after an elusive 200 instead ;)
still needs to be wood finish (prefer the three specified) and downward firing
I'm in no hurry now, so will bump this forever :D

    I haven't had a response yet.

I PM'd damien55 on the 24th. He's been online and started a new thread since so I'm not sure what's going on...

    Hi SPORTSM4N,

Sorry I somehow missed your PM. I am not selling it anymore as I was supposed to get an other sub but the deal did not happen. If I find another sub I will get in touch with you.

    Sorry

    Hi Damien,

No worries. I'm not in a massive rush, but this is the sub I've got my heart set on so I'm more than happy to wait.

I look forward to hearing from you.

    Kind regards,

    Craig.
