    Hi guys,

    I'm mounting my Sony Bravia 46W4000 on the wall this weekend and need to get a mount ordered today really. It needs to have tilt function on it as it's being fitted to the fireplace and it would be nice to have it as close to the wall as possible as some i've seen leave the TV a good 20/30cm away from the wall.

    any help is greatly appreciated

    (Thanks in advance)

    Hi

    With a tilt bracket you do need some depth to allow for the tilt. The question is whether you're having the TV tilted all the time or whether you'll tilt as necessary.

    The bracket below is 60mm in depth but when the TV is tilted to 10 degrees the TV will be nearly touching the wall at the bottom;

    M-Form - 32" to 52" Tilting Universal LCD/Plasma Bracket

    The Super Slim bracket below will give you a much slimmer depth when flat but, again the effect will be the same once the TV is tilted;

    M-Form - 32" to 42" SUPER SLIM Tilting LCD/Plasma Bracket

    Hope this helps.

    Regards
    Graham
