I had a friend that worked for a local hospital and that was what I was told too.
Another parent here, got the 5yr old hooked on gadgets and tech, so give it a year or two and he'll be on here asking "how do I sync audio on HDMI because my ben 10 bluray is playing up" I'm sure.
Anyone have a second child pretty quick after the first one ? My wife and I are considering trying for a second baby, our litle girl is only 10 weeks old, we're both in our (very) early forties and so don't want to wait much longer.
Yep. My two eldest girls are twelve months apart and they're best friends (Now 17 & 18). Practical benefits when they were younger is that they shared the same play / bath / bed time. Now my wife and I have five children with fourteen years between them and bed time is from 6.30 until 10.30 before we get time together. And then we are too knackered to do anything!!!
No. First two boys were two years apart, third son 8 years later and finally my daughter 3 years after that, 13 years from first to last. I have now been surgically altered
Yeah Triplets, one of each
One of each???
Got a baby girl due in two weeks!
Have a son 19yrs and daughter 16yrs
One girl aged 4 & one in the missus belly ready in 1 month (a boy)... BF3 will have to sit on the side for 6 month
I doubt he'll be old enough to play it by then
Father of four
3 girls and a boy
Girl, boy, girl, girl
9, 7, 4 and 1
Didn't find out the sex of any of them.
Made labour so much more exciting
Hi everyone, i'm the father of a ten year old girl. we didn't wish to know the sex of the child, as you say "It made for a very exciting delivery"
We were told to expect a boy...then out came a girl lol...that was pretty exciting and a tad confusing lol
Didn't care what sex she was, as long as she was healthy though
Father of 3
3½ girl and 11 month old twins (boy and girl).
Father of a five year old and a 9 month old, 44 years old, never sleeping fully again, greying, never get to play on MY ps3 or xbox 360 or xbox or ps2 or ps1 or gamecube.... bugger
I turned 45 in January, and I'm the father of a 9 year old and 3 year old.
Plenty of sleep and PS3 time here, albeit once hectic bath and bed duties are done.
Father of two, with nearly 4 years difference. First one we didn't want to know the sex, and it was a horrible hospital experience at L&D. Second one we did want to know but weren't allowed in L&D hospital due too problems with certain ethnic minority groups, stupid policy, but hey how I called in a favour with a friend in a hospital in London from my days in the Pharma industry and we got to know it. It was a nice and relaxed home birth, and we didn't have 1 but 4 mid wives in our house I think they panicked as the one allocated to us was busy on another delivery, never forget it I encouraged my wife to make the call at 8pm (she even bathed our eldest when I got home...) then a slight panic, first mid wive arrived at 8.45 them one at 9 and then the baby was born at 9.30pm shortly followed by the other two mid wives
We did a home-birth for our third - great experience - much nicer than going to hospital - especially as our (brand new, mega expensive) NHS hopital is a bit on the deadly side when it comes to their maternity unit
... Another old fart - two daughters, both in their 30s.
Yes, to a 16 year old of my own and an 8 year old step-son. The 16 year old never speaks and the 8 year old never shuts up! My partner would like another one, but has been told - in no uncertain terms - that if she thinks I'm having another child at 45 years old she's having a laugh
Father of 3, 15 year old lad that lives with his mum, And 2 at home with me and the wife they are 11 and 7 both girls, All 5 of our birthdays are in august busy month
Daughter aged 34 and 2 Granddaughters.
7 year old daughter-the best 7 of my life
As of 6:05 this morning, YES!! To a beautiful baby girl called Caitlin! So proud right now watching them sleep.
Congratulations. You must be tired as well. Got a picture?
Great! - a real-time dad - a first for the thread?
Kieran that's great news!
Was that a week & a half over?
My wife was due yesterday and is to be induced on Monday if no show beforehand!
We've chosen Caitlin for a girl too!!
