Be nice to save a few quid - I want an iPod engraved for my daughter for Christmas, hence not able to take advantage of the deals that involves iTunes cards.

She is expecting something other than "Dad is the bestest" though I expect...:D

Do you think we would be allowed to use our student discount on top of this as well?

I wonder wether they would do a 12-core mac pro for £1500 :)

Or sell off their xservers for £500 each.

But I guess I have more chance of winning the lottery.

even though I have no need for one, I would so go and buy an xserver for 500 quid! but lol, I was planning to get my MBA before the VAT hike so an extra £50 or so off (after HE discount) would be nice

They have to charge VAT on everything they sell. It's the law. A sort of exception is for books where the VAT rate is 0%.

Good idea ! You might also want to try local jewellers or some companies do Laser Engraving on iPods (and other things...). Probably best not to get your own Black and Decker out though...or try other methods

    No Apple TV savings either:mad:

Did anyone answer the question about whether or not the savings could be in addition to the FE or HE savings?

    Thanks

Yeah, I'd quite like to know that as well! If you can, tonight could well be the night I buy an iMac, after deliberating for months...
