Glad this podcast is back guys, enjoyed it as always. I keep meaning to pick up deus ex and after hearing your thoughts I will definitely make a point of getting a hold of it soon. I was never a duke nukem fan but had a good laugh at your thoughts on the new game.

Edit - just went and ordered deus ex from amazon, only cost £12 and I had £14 amazon vouchers left so hasn't cost me anything. Can't wait to play the game now.

Just be warned about those boss fights! Other than that it's a top notch game :)

Thanks for your feedback too, much appreciated.

Glad to hear the Gaming podcast after the unintentional hiatus.

For me, ID's RAGE was my most disappointing game of 2011. So much promise was wasted with the rinse and repeat level design and gameplay. Duke Nukem had stinker written all over it, so it came as no surprise that drawing on the whiteboard was the games only highlight.

    Cheers.

Agreed; there were quite a few dissapointing titles last year including RAGE which started well but lacked substance.

The Duke was one of the worst offenders like we said with few highlights to shout home about.

Hopefully this year will be a bit better but looking at it there arent too many big titles to look forward to at the minute...

Stephen, how often do you release them? These also need to be advertised better as I've only just discovered it. Surely a banner on the top of each gaming forum would be welcomed by all.
