The TW2000 is by far the best LCD projector we have seen yet, with stunning black levels, sublime colour performance and most of the set up and calibration tools you could ever need.

A useful review, Phil, but it isn't at all clear to me what you intend in the way you use "depth of field" in this context. That's a 3D term that describes the nearest to farthest distance an image will be in focus.

Do you really mean dynamic range or contrast ratio? That is, the JVC had a wider contrast between the brightest and darkest areas of an image compared to the Epson? That would tend to make the projected image look "deeper" and more dimensional.

I particularly like the detail you provide in your test results. The explanatory table is unusually helpful. An excellent feature of your review.
