Simple Audio has officially released Roomplayer+, its new streamer with synchronised music playback, direct NAS support and support for 24/192 uncompressed formats.
The new Roomplayer+ is designed by a group of designers and engineers originally from Linn who are focussed on audiophile sound performance.
The player supports file types ranging for MP3 tracks up to uncompressed high-resolution formats (24/192). Uncompressed support is for ALAC and FLAC up to 24-bit/192kHz (Lossless) and AIFF and WAV up to 24-bit/192kHz.
It will also provide access to music libraries, music folders, even individual tracks stored on multiple devices around the home - from computers (PC/Mac) and NAS drives to smartphone, tablets and MP3 players.
Powerline technology integrated into every Roomplayer+ supports high-res streaming and multi-room connectivity so you can play different music in different rooms or create groups to synchronise music in rooms around the home.
