We guessed his would happen some months ago and it’s no surprise that it’s Samsung who are to provide the World’s first ever curved soundbar.
The announcement comes just as IFA 2014 is set to swing into action and the HW-H7500/H7501 will be on show in Berlin alongside the also just announced M3, the latest addition to their Wireless Audio Multiroom product line.

The HW-H7500/H7501 Curved Soundbar complements the aesthetic design of Samsung’s range of curved TVs and it can easily be installed under the TV – replacing the TV stand – for a super-tidy install.

With a width of 42 mm and a curvature radius of 4,200 mm the Soundbar replicates the same curvature as the Samsung Curved UHD TVs. It’s an evolution of their existing designs, crafted with a brushed aluminium finish and matches both their 55 and 65 inch Curved TVs.

In addition to its design, the Curved Soundbar also delivers immersive sound and user-friendly functions. The unit features 8.1 channel support and adds two speaker units on both sides, delivering sound from three directions, for a surround like experience. Users can control the Curved Soundbar through Samsung TV remote controls and by connecting the Soundbar to the Samsung TV wirelessly via “TV SoundConnect.”

Samsung has also added the M3 to its new(ish) Wireless Audio Multiroom series. The M3 joins the M5 and the M7 as part of the wireless home entertainment product line, and offers a more compact and affordably priced option for consumers looking to enjoy a multiroom sound experience.

To take full advantage of multiroom sound, Samsung has partnered with Spotify and together they plan to provide users with a more diverse music catalogue. As part of this partnership, users can play more than two Samsung Wireless Audio Multiroom at once, for the first time for Spotify Connect.

“Following the successful launch of our Curved TVs, Samsung is looking to expand the curved line-up with the introduction of the Curved Soundbar, allowing us to now offer a total curved experience for the consumer,” said Robert King, Vice President of the Consumer Electronics, Samsung UK and Ireland. “As the market leader in curved technology, Samsung strives to create the most complete home entertainment experience – whether that’s watching the latest 4K content on our Curved UHD TVs, immersing yourself in incredible surround sound or listening to the latest music throughout your home.”
