MWC 2014: Is this the Samsung Galaxy S5?

Could be!

by hodg100
Leaked images of what appears to be the Samsung Galaxy S5 have appeared online, ahead of Samsung’s official Unpacked 5 event this evening in Barcelona.
The photos appeared on the Hardware Zone forum and show the S5 as having a metal casing around the outside of the devices chassis.

There are also a few hardware tidbits ‘uncovered’ such as the Galaxy S5 now having a fingerprint scanner, a la iPhone 5s, and that said scanner will be able to register up to three different users at a time.

The forum leaker also claims that the S5 will give users the ability to make transactions through PayPal, using the scanner, and that it will be fitted with a hear rate sensor, which is in keeping with Samsung’s current direction.

Other potential specs include a 5.24in AMOLED display with a QHD 2560 x 1440 pixel resolution and two processor variants - an Exynos 6 and Snapdragon 805 – dependent on network compatibility.

By this time tomorrow, we will know the actual specs but it’s something to chew on in the meantime.
