Timing is everything and there certainly couldn't have been a better moment for Roku to announce the addition of the ITV Player to their list of UK channels.
My trusty Roku 3 is certainly going to be the device of choice when it comes to using catch-up services for the World Cup but the channel is also available to all current gen Roku family owners, including those of the super-tidy Streaming Stick.
The ITV Player, along with the the BBC iPlayer and Sport app, are your ticket in to seeing absolutely every game the tournament has to offer.

But, of course, the ITV Player is not just for the World Cup, it brings with it access to the last 30 days of all ITV’s catch-up content across ITV, ITV2, ITV3, ITV4 and CITV, so you can see the likes Britain’s Got Talent, Coronation Street and The Americans in addition to coverage of the Tour de France.
Martin Goswami, Director of Pay & Distribution at ITV, said: “A key part of our strategy is to make our content accessible on multiple platforms and we are delighted to be working with Roku to bring our programmes to their devices.”
