Is the original hard drive drive big enough to store multiply emulators and roms?

From what I remember you’ve about 4GB on the E drive to store stuff, that should be plenty for a hand full of emulators

You can always put the roms on a DVD!

as scotty says, it's about 4gb which is plenty for your arcade/snes/mega drive stuff so long as you don't pop in too many Mega CD games.

i'm puzzled why there only 4gb left given the xbox has a 8-10gb hard drive.

Re: hard drive

Hi,
The xbox harddrive is partitioned like this :

C:/ 500mb <= Location of the MS Dashboard
E:/ 4.76gb <= Game save location & ripped music
X:/ 750mb <= Cache
Y:/ 750mb <= Cache
Z:/ 750mb <= Cache

If you are putting your Emus and Roms on E:/ its recommended to leave about 750mb free space, theres also a cache folder in E:/ and once full it can stop your original xbox games from loading or running properly.
Its safe to delete the contents of the E:/ cache folder and anything in folders X Y & Z should you experience game loading problems.

All xbox harddrives are formatted to 8Gb but if you have a Seagate harddrive (these are 10gb) you can format the extra space giving you a F:/ partition with the extra 2gb.
Stick in Auto Installer Deluxe and try to `Format F` - See if the extra 2gb shows up in your dashboard.
