Hello, I have an old xbox which i am starting to use again and i also have a 37"lcd with 5.1 amp..
How would i get a signal from the xbox to the amp to get surround sound and would i be able to get a better picture.. as i just have the yellow, red & white jack plugs in the side of the tv...
Is there any HD upgrade kits available to me, the xbox is completely standard if that helps..

If its un modified the best picture your going to get is with an RGB scart cable, if you can find a Microsoft original they had a SPDIF optical out, use this to connect to your amp to get 5.1 out

Its not a genuine M$ one, but i doubt you'd get an M$ one anyway
