XBMC white noise issue?

Evening folks. Just after some quick advice regarding a white noise issue, that I'm experiencing with my new TV (37LZD80) and XBMC.

I'm running Unleash-X as my dashboard and XBMC as an app. When watching movies via XBMC, I get a small bar of white noise across the upper left corner of the screen. Games appear normal.

MS dash is set to widescreen, UnleashX, XBMC and my TV are all set to 16:9. These settings were never an issue on my Sony CRT so it must be something to do with the LCD? Any ideas on this one? Thanks.

you can adjust the screen size in XBMC, in the settings.
also try your tv's options also, you may have just scan or 1:1 set to on, this will give off some garbage material that viewers arent meant to see sometimes.
