My question is the xbox now totally useless since i dont have a backup of my original hd,so just inserted another hd but when i try to load slayers from the dvd drive i just get the error 16 screen. box wont boot from the slayers dvd. Any suggestions. I know its probably worth nothing but it just pains me to bin it.Mike

Re: xbox dead?

Odd, if it's chipped surely it should boot the disc? You have put in a replacement HDD haven't you?

Re: xbox dead?

Thanks for the advice guys. And funnily enough my own pc won't even recognize the replacement hard drive as being there doh! Was just one I had in the cupboard upstairs for ages. So presuming it must be faulty. Will try source another cheapo one just to try. For curiousitys sake. Thanks again. Mike

Re: xbox dead?
