XBMC wont play DVD's?

XBMC wont play DVD's?
Hi,

I have just softmodded my xbox using auto installer 3.0, but when I try and play a DVD through XBMC if eithr gives me a black screen, or starts to play then crashes?

any ideas?

oh I should note if i access the individual files through the dvd they play fine
