i have a softmodded xbox done by using sibeers kit,now im wanting to upgrade xbmc to a newer version, how do i do this i have seen some people saying you need to overwrite the xbmc folder but where on the xbox after doin sibeers softmod is it as i cant seem to find it, a step by step guide to updating xbmc would be a great help anyone ?

FTP into your XBox and in E:\Apps\ there will most likely be a folder named XBMC. If you have XBMC set as your dashboard and you are already using a new(ish) version, then you probably have a shortcut setup in the C drive (this will probably be called evoxdash.xbe and evoxdash.cfg - evoxdash.cfg is just a text file containing the path to XBMC). If this is the case then just FTP the userdata folder (from E:\Apps\XBMC) onto your PC and then FTP the folder containing the new version of XBMC over the old one on the XBox. Then FTP the userdata folder back on to the XBox (into E:\Apps\XBMC). That should be it.
