Just attempting first softmod using the Krayzies Guide

Just wanted to check if im ok backing up the eeprom to the memory card as mentioned in the guide as dont have means to connect the xbox to my pc at present?

Is copying to the memory card and then saving to pc the same thing in effect? ie keeping a 'safe' copy elsewhere!?

I have not found a way to get the eeprom from my memory card but after the install was finished I just got the eeprom from E: so I assume its stored there permanantly there.

I would suggest you find a way to ftp it over to your PC.

I was so paranoid about keeping my eeprom safe I have made 10 copies of it lol 5 rars and 5 uncompressed.

1 of each are on C:, D:, E:, USB Drive and last is on a floppy.

Hope you also have an offsite backup too.....!
