Streaming Media from PC to 360

Hey guys I'm having some massive issues with streming media from my PC to my 360.

Basically I have shared all my media I want to in windows media player on my PC which is running Windows 7. I have a USB N wireless Belkin adator (F5D8055ed).
My 360 has the Wireless N adaptor and I use a WDNR3700 wireless router.
The distance between the PC and the router is 8 metres and about 10 metres from my router to my 360.

When I sign in on my xbox and start watching media via the dashboard it will play one file ok but then if I try to play another file my xbox either will lose connection to the PC or disconnect from Xbox Live.
I can play the xbox fine connected to xbox live it just drops out when I am streaming media.
I have tried putting the xbox on a static IP but still have this issue. I have also set my router onto a different channel but that didn't help either.

Does anyone have similar problems or know of a solution.

Any help would by much appreciated.

Sorry just realised this is in the wrong thread.

If the distance is only 8 meters why not just wire it up you wont regret it and it is far better.
