Deleting xbmc?

I have an xbox running xbmc, recently it has started playing up and text keeps disappearing from skins etc. Was ftping something to it the other day and noticed i have

E:/Apps/tech(something i can't remember atm)/XBMC

and

E:/XBMC

Could this be an issue that i have two on there? How do i know which one i am actually running?

Are you soft modded ?

The one on the root of the E/ partition will be the one you boot into, the other, the tech3 one will be the one that launches when you access it through the `Applications` option on your dashboard.

Have you tried deleting the contents of the E/CACHE folder, and also the contents of folders X, Y & Z ? ..... When these become full some weird stuff can happen.

Can you see the X, Y & Z partitions if you FTP in ?
I think XBMC hides them by default - I dont know how to make them show.

You could install EvoX or UnleashX as an application and FTP into one of those instead.

Are I & Q memory cards ?
