Not Optimum Mode xbox, urgent help needed

i was trying to get a better pic and change xbox settings to 1080p but screen went off and ever since says Not Optimum Mode, get get xbox pic to change it back.
please help asap.

Sounds like a Xbox 360 question as the original xbox only goes to 1080i.
