is it possible too extract files off an xbox which has been modded excutter2,to a normal xbox not modded also emulators,games that are on the modded xbox....if this is possible how do i do itwith thanks

You could retrieve the files from the modded Xbox, but couldn't send them over to your unmodded (Stock) Xbox without softmodding it as you couldn't FTP into it - I think.

Tightasagnats is right, your best bet would be to FTP the Softmod files to your modded xbox E:\UDATA partition and copy them to a memory card - then from the memory card to your unmodded xbox hard drive, run Splinter Cell or whatever game and install the Softmod, then you could FTP the files from your PC or install Avalaunch as an application on both boxes and use that to FTP from one xbox to the other.

how would i connect both xboxes to the pc?because they would have different ip addresses?and i thought you could only ftp from pc to xbox or vice versa?so it would be possible to take off /copy files off modded xbox too convert another xbox thats not modded?how do i no which files to copy off modded xbox ...i have splinter cell already..and where do i get the memory card and lead to put into xbox to get files off?or could i just ftp them across to my pc??thanks

As I said in your other thread you cannot ftp to an unmodded Xbox so the easiest way to get files on the unmodded Xbox is by USB or Memory card method, or get someone to put the files on a MC or USB stick for you if you already have one of either.

You can connect both Xbox's to a switch then to your PC if you need them both connected at the same time and they assign their IPs automatically, you just go into the 'Network settings' once modded and get the IP to use in whichever FTP program you use or you can assign static IPs.

You need a USB stick or Xbox memory card to copy the 'files' needed to the (Unmodded) Xbox before you can softmod it.

I used the USB stick method (for 3 Xbox's with AR Software) as it's quite easy and the cheapest way to to it, I used an old MP3 player and all the files are free of course, I just needed the USB lead which was purchased from the fleabay for 3 or 4 £'s delivered and it doubles up as a lead for a keyboard and such so it's not a 'one off' purchase.
