Error 21 - Softmod gone wrong?

Tried my first ever XBOX softmod on Saturday using the splinter cell exploit and SID 5.0. All went well up until I had to switch off/switch on and now get error 21 Service required...... unless there is a disc in the drive. With the disc in everything looks ok, games play and XBL is working.

Main aim of the softmod had been to enable 720p and dual boot with XBMC.

Anything I can do or would I be better picking up another cheap XBOX?

Boot up the xbox with a `live` enabled game, go throught the options to connect to live WITHOUT an ethernet cable attached, hopefully that will update your dash.

Edit: Can you not just run the Splinter Cell game and re-load the Soft mod menu ?

Chett, have tried to reload the exploit but it starts to load then the game goes back to the intro movie.

Do you have 007 Agent under fire ?
I can send you an exploit that i made that will allow you to FTP your xbox and manually delete the corrupt / offending files.

Chett sorry no Agent Under Fire but I should be able to pick one up cheap in my local GS.

I will take a look and get back.

Would probably need some instructions on what files would need to be added or deleted from the HD
