hi all,
i have a original modded xbox, which is connected to our network. it will access all shared files on my laptop which is running xp pro, but willnot access folders on our home pc running vista home prem, it can see the shared folders but when u try and access them it comes up locked and asks for a password.
im guessing its some kind of setting on the vista pc ive looked for a setting but cant find one.
the xbox 360 we also have accesses all files on both pc and laptop

please help so i can play the 360 when the mrs is watchin her chick flicks

Im not quite sure, but you might need to create a user account on your vista pc and allow your xbox to access the files. Or you might need to give "read" permission to "everyone"
