Few Questions?

Why wont any new DIVX files I obtain off the internet not play on my xbox?

Do I need to update my xbox to recognise these new files?

I currently have XMBC with 200gb hard drive and all my old divx files are working so do I need to update?

I use to be able to plug a network wire into my xbox and trasnfer files staright to my xbox and vice versa. I forgot how to do this now can anyone remind me?

Re: Few Questions?

you need an ftp client, i use filezilla

FileZilla - The free FTP solution

and personally i use a static ip address on the xbox, just sort the ip address out on the box, make sure that ip address is allowed in your firewall and setup your network shares through xbmc.

if they are divx files with the file extension .divx, rename them to .avi and they should play fine.
