Coke Zone Xbox LIVE Points Giveaway

Anyone know about this?

News: Coke gives away 3 million MS points - ComputerAndVideoGames.com

Doesnt seem to be in place yet but several sources say something is planned.
Anyone know much more about it than is being vaguely stated?

I use the cokezone website quite regularly and there's been absolutely no mention of this so far (just their ongoing offer of buying an EA sports game for 250 cokezone points - a few more points for me and I'll be getting FIFA 09).

I wouldn't be surprised if the 'LIVE Points Giveaway' is just a USA promotion.

You get them by entering the points from the coke bottles, just need to remember to do them whenever u have one to save them up. If your account got wiped shud be able to restart a new one or get refered and get an extra 20 points on ur account.

how many points is each bottle code??????

depending on that i might have to drink more coke lol. i know a certain halfpriceorless store in the city that sells the cokezone bottlesfor 39 p lol.

2 points for a 500ml bottle.

3 points for the big 2ltr ones.

Get points for Dr Pepper as well - which is useful as my housemate drinks loads of the stuff.

There's also the occasional inane poll on the cokezone site (what's your favourite pancake filling etc) that you get points for taking part in.

Yea it is but if you drink coke alot its an added bonus to the drink. Also Im not sure how the live points giveaway will work like what the exchange rate between the points will be, if u have a lot of points saved its just handy.

think you'd defo be minus 1 or 2 teeth after drinking that much.

You guys seen the famous video of a tooth in a glass of fizzy drink? Ive never touched the stuff since... except when i have vodka redbull

I dont think thats how its gonna work, its 2 coke zone points per bottle then Im guessing you will trade these in at an exchange rate for microsoft points, e.g. 10 coke zone points/5 bottles = 100 microsoft points or something I would assume.

Id assume there would be a target you would have to meet before u can claim your points. I.e 800 or 1000 points ?

If you leave a tooth in glass of orange juice or coffee it dissolves away at the same rate it does in coke. Have you given up them as well?

As far as I'm aware you trade 2 coke points for 200 Microsoft points. That's all i have been able to find out regarding this :\

It seems broken. Everytime I go to the page I get an animation telling me that I am not logged in. Once I managed to get it to load a flash to 100% and then it froze

I can log on, but there doesn't seem anyway to claim the 200 points yet, so I imagine it is not live.

This is getting a joke now. I'm doing the survey to potentially get an Xbox Live sub. I've just spent 10mins going through, and I've got to the question with the radio clip where the bloody thing has crashed with 'Please be patient while the page loads'. Do these people test the stuff before putting it live.

Now the survey is saying I am no longer eligible because it crashed in the middle so I wont be getting a shot at the Xbox Live.

I was not eligible as i did not meet the criteria of the Survey

I only clicked on my age and it kicked me out

I have 9 points......is that useful for anything ?

You only need 2 points to claim 200 live points, but I don't think you can yet.
