Any tips on setting up Netgear DG834GT to work on Talk Talk?

I'm already on Xbox Live but my mate now want to get live aswell. He has got a Netgear DG834GT router and is with Talk Talk. Has anybody got any tips that might help me set it up this afternoon? We are both pretty crap when it comes to this kind of thing and i have known other people who have had problems with Talk Talk and Xbox Live.

If anybody can help or give me any pointers i would be more than grateful! Thanks dudes.
