I've just recently moved and have had to subscribe to SKy (had Virgin before)
anyway the max download speed is apparently 3.5mb which is quicker then the "mb i had with Virgin. Can anyone tell me if they have had good expericances with SKY broadband when playing online as I haven't had the braodband connected yet and might still chaneg my mind. BTW when i had Virgin running at 2mb it was fine.

I've only had Sky broadband for a week or so, and so far have not had any problems. I hosted my first game of GOW last night and had 1 bit of lag, but otherwise fine. I used to be with AOL, but can't say that there is any real difference between the 2 so far.

I know people only ever really tend to write reviews when things go wrong, but head over to moneysupermarket.com to take a look at the reviews for Sky Broadband.

I'd suggest it's yet another BB provider which is absolutely fine... as long as there are no problems and you have to call up

My only real experience with broadband is that if something appears to be too good to be true (£34 for phone, BB and SkySports, is it?) then it more often than not is too good to be true.

its superb for the money...yes you tend to deal with monkeys on the phone but then you do with most now. I used to be with F2S and whilst they were very good the speeds dont touch my sky package and it was more than twice the price!
