howdy all,
ive just recently aquired a wireless network adaptor and after a few problems ive managed to get hooked up to xbox live by the way thanks to all thats kicked my a*se at table tennis, pgr, and fifa jees i suck bad
however i just cant seem get my pc hooked up to share media and although im an I.T retard i think i have tried most things. i installed media player 11 and enabled media sharing, my pc sees my xbox but it still fails on the media test on pc connection. i also tried to flash the settings using windows media connect but nothing happens, can anybody help?. i know what im saying is a little confusing but i really cant describe long technical computer related words as like i say am a little short in the brains department when it comes to this sort of stuff.
do i have to uninstall media player 11 to use media connect ??.
all help and info greatly app.
ooohhhh by the way i cant believe how much ive missed out on not having x box live its awsome.

I've had the same problem since i got the wireless adapter. Because the router is connected to both the pc and the 360, the way to link the 2 up would be using a home network through windows.

The pc and the 360 aren't connected in anyway directly and so the router would need to stream from the pc to the 360. so, if you create a home network, use the extender software/wmp11 and select the correct file sharing settings, you would be fine. btw, theres also other good media manager software that you could use such as tv-versity (i think thats how you spell it) or zune player.

The easiest way to do it would be to connect the pc and the 360 using an ethernet cable and that should work with no probs.
