That's what it says to me when I try to sign up and it's been 'currently' unavailable for over a week and a half.

Please can anyone give me any help wirh this it's really annoying not being able to use a service and everyone else loving it?

Anyone know anything about it any advice please talk, the connections are all fine, even the XBox Live one it says 'Connected' so why won't it let me sign up and use it, I've made at least two gamertags with different Windows ID's when I try to retrive the gamertages it says they're not recognised but when I put my Windows Live ID in, it says 'Xbox Live signup is currently unavailable. Please try again later.'

(mods I notice I've posted this in the wrong section but if you wouldn't mind putting it in the main page instead of the xbox live page that would be preferable because I posted two topics on that section before and got no replys I really could do with some help on this one, thank you)

I don't have a fix for you but have you contacted MS about this?

Have e-mailed them and will call them if no soloution becomes apparent soon.

Yeah thanks mate I have actually had a look on there couldn't find the problem that I was experiencing though. Might just have another check on there because I'm beginning to run out of options.

I actually tried to go on the message board there because it seems to be a place a lot of people go with Xbox Live problems but with two difference e-mail adress both times when trying to register it comes up with 'Sorry, but this e-mail address has been banned.' Why?
Pretty screwed unless Microsoft decide to actually make Live work for me.

I don't believe this, I've finally got it up and working, problem is though I've got no achivements or anything presumably because my name on the offline dashboard that I play all my games with is different to the Xbox Live Gamertag I just created.

Is there anyway of converting my achivements on to that gamer tag?

Yeah that happened to me on my old 360.. i had about 5 to 6000 gamerscore and went to make an online account on it.. started off with 0. Thing is though we realised that when we made the account it took over what was my dad's (Druboo) offline account but he had only 0 anyway because he is poor at gaming. So that might have been the problem..

Hey man. I had a lot of bother with same problem as yours. A few things I done to fix it, however I'm not sure which one exactly worked. First was used a wired connection instead of wireless. Also logged in on the xbox.com website to my xboxlive account. Also went into my hotmail account and reset the password. Then deleted all profile files in the memory section of the dashboard and then entered the tag recovery wizard again and this worked for me.
