Right i had a problem 1st of all the poor quality of the headset provided by MS and the problem of wearing the headset and headphones for those late night sessions at the same time! I had a look round to see if there was a wireless alternative but didnt really have any success so had another think and came up with a much easier and much much cheaper alternative!!!

Ive already got a pair of wireless headphones which are really good so didnt want to get rid of them! i then thought of the old style hands free kits for mobiles as they use the same jack as the live headset. I had a look round and found it in tesco for £3 odd with all the attachments for various makes of mobiles.

Just tested it and it works great stick the headphone in my ear then wireless headphones over the top and im away better quality than the live headset!!!

The only let downs not problems is no volume or mute there not really a problem as the volume seems to be just right and i can live without the mute!

so there you go!!!
