xbox live through a proxy server

Hi all,

I have (sneakily) brought my xbox 360 to school (I'm a boarder) but we have a proxy server which the xbox doesn't seem to be able to get past.

On the PC the proxy server address is 10.2.0.32 on port 8080, and I need to use a username and password to log on to the net.

I'm 99.9% sure it's impossible for me to play online with my 360 from here, but there are some pretty clever people on this site and if there was a way to play I'm sure someone can help me out! Is there any way to configure the xbox? Or even to connect to xbox live through my PC?

Thanks very much,
Sean

Re: xbox live through a proxy server

You can't do anything on the xbox, your best bet is to connect your Xbox to your PC, connect the PC to the net (enter password etc) and then try to connect.

No guarantees of course, but that's what I'd be trying.
